Shawn Oliver

Shawn Oliver has had a passion for seafood and sustainability as young as he can remember. While most of his classmates were playing sports or video games with their friends, Shawn played in a grotto close to his house arranging rocks in a way to prevent crayfish predation from raccoons. Before and after attending a high school vocational program for food processing and meat cutting, Shawn began climbing the ladder in the culinary world. After an eventful 18 year career as a chef/restaurant manager, Shawn had the opportunity to reinvent himself in seafood retail at A large grocery chain in the mid west. During his tenure with that company. He rose through the ranks of seafood department manager, seafood category buyer and seafood category Merchant. Due to corporate restructuring, said employment ended Jan 26 2024. Shawn is optimistic and excited for the next chapter of his life. He intends on completely emulsifying himself in the seafood industry with the intention of bringing great seafood and great people together. Shawn and his wife Staci have set deep roots in northeastern Ohio where they are raising their two young children (8 and 6).
