Virginia McPherson has over twenty years of experience in managing trade and cargo security at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). She has worked on several priority Trade Transformation initiatives, including Establishing a Suspension and Debarment Program, Simplified Processes and building and maintaining relationship with Partner Government Agencies as part of the Border Interagency Executive Council (BIEC). In her current role as the CBP Civil Enforcement Division Director, in the Office of Trade, Ms. McPherson drives trade enforcement through interagency collaboration on emerging and illicit trade activity through the civil penalty process, decides supplemental petitions, and is the designated agency lead for suspension and debarment.
