Nina Rosen

Nina works as a Senior Project Manager at FishWise to encourage traceability, verification, and transparency as mutually beneficial activities to mitigate illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing. Her work connects efforts of the global seafood movement to company due diligence efforts by focusing on the value of collaboration and multi-stakeholder engagement. Nina is solution-oriented and focused on bringing groups together to share knowledge and experiences that reveal opportunities for alignment, efficiency gains, and strategic collaborations. This work often lies at intersections of communication, fisheries, and coordination. Nina’s interdisciplinary background and work with small-scale fisheries in Mexico and Tanzania allow her to view seafood security through an environmental, economic, and social lens. Nina holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
