Katherine Hanly

Katherine Hanly is a policy manager for Pew’s work to end illegal fishing, where she works to bring together policy, technology, transparency and enforcement initiatives to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing. Before joining Pew, Hanly worked on marine environment conservation, the trade in endangered species, international fisheries agreements, United Nations conventions, public affairs and government relations. Hanly held several leadership positions within international NGOs and was executive director of the Anna Lindh Foundation in Stockholm, where she worked to advance the ideas and legacy of the former Swedish foreign minister.
