Richard (Rick) Stein is Vice President of Fresh Foods at FMI, where he leads services and strategies across fresh categories including dairy, meat, seafood, produce, deli, bakery, and prepared foods. He joined FMI in 2014 after more than 40 years in retail grocery merchandising and marketing, most recently as Vice President of Retail Merchandising and Marketing Execution at Safeway. Rick holds a BA from the University of Maryland and serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Children’s Cancer Foundation and Easter Seals of DC/VA/MD.
