Katarina serves as Secretary General at AIPCE and CEP; the European Association of Fish Processors and the European Federation of National Associations of Fish Traders, based in Brussels. The associations gather major players in the EU as well as UK and Norway, in the sector and represent an overall value value of approx. €30 billion. Before moving to AIPCE CEP, Katarina represented the interests of the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters and Manufacturers of fish products – Conxemar, with particular focus on engagement with the EU institutions, relevant Advisory Councils and stakeholders in the sector as well as the work of the FAO.
