We are unable to provide letters of invitation for the purpose of obtaining a visa for travel. We have been informed that a letter of invitation has no bearing on whether a visa will be issued. When applying for your visa, be sure to provide a copy of your registration confirmation to attend the show, as well as any promotional materials you have received verifying the exhibition is a valid event.
Only qualified seafood industry professionals above the age of 16 may attend Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global. The exposition is a business-to-business trade event; the event is not open to the public.

Please REVIEW carefully these important restrictions and measures about bag searching and safety at the FIra Barcelona Gran Via Venue before arriving to the event and plan your arrival to the expo and your meetings accordingly.
No strollers and no one under the age of 16 years will be allowed in the exhibit halls, including infants in stroller or carriers.
Child care services are not provided and are not available at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via Venue. If you must travel with your children, please make appropriate arrangements elsewhere for their care during your visit to the event.
All soliciting on the exposition floor by attendees is strictly prohibited.
Seafood samples will not be allowed to be removed from the exhibit floor. All product sampling must be done on the exhibit floor. Attendees will not be permitted to exit the exhibit hall with product samples. Samples that attendees attempt to remove from the event floor will be confiscated at the exits and donated to charity.
A special event taking place during Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global on 22 April from 11:00–13:30. It is a collaboration between Seafood Expo Global and Marine Money — the global leader in vessel financing events for over 30 years — bringing together seafood companies, investors, lenders, and transaction professionals to network, discuss market conditions, and explore deal opportunities.
This Forum is by invitation only and is included with the registration badge to Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global.
Barcelona Turisme offers a 10% discount on the Hola Barcelona Transport Card, Barcelona’s transport pass, which offers unlimited travels for the period option selected (48, 72, 96 or 120 hours).
You can also use the card to travel to and from the airport.
The Gran Via venue is fully accessible, thus guaranteeing the full participation of all attendees. The venue is free of obstacles, and all its floors are accessible by lift.
