Seafood industry expert with a background in convening public private partnerships, sustainable market transformation and innovative financing. Within ASC, Roy is responsible for the development and rollout of ASC's Improver Program: a precompetitive support program to drive meaningful and measurable change in the aquaculture industry at scale by working with farmers, NGOs and governments. The program works on themes like capacity building, financing and benchmarks, but also addresses key challenges such as jurisdictional verification and (price) premium models through partnerships with others.
