He also helps to build innovative areas for MSC and ASC, including on leveraging data for more positive impact in the finance sector.
Before his current role, Ray worked at WWF, focusing on sustainable finance where he developed strategies to align financial systems with environmental conservation goals.
Ray’s previous work experience includes working in investment banking and markets at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America for almost a decade.
He has extensive experience engaging with banks, investors, and policy makers to drive positive environmental and social impacts. Ray is a thought leader in sustainable finance, advocating for innovative financial structures that support ecological and social responsibility. His work is pivotal in aligning capital markets with global sustainability goals, particularly now in the seafood sector.
