Blake Stok

Blake Stok is the Senior Director of Sustainability for Thai Union’s Global Frozen Business. In this role, he leads strategic efforts to improve environmental and social performance across global seafood supply chains.

Blake has played a central role in shaping the Shrimp Decarbonization Initiative, a pioneering model for shrimp production that combines innovative technologies with transparent financial structures to reduce emissions while remaining economically viable for all stakeholders. Working on behalf of Thai Union subsidiary Chicken of the Sea Frozen Foods, his collaborative approach has helped unlock scalable solutions in partnership with organizations such as Whole Foods Market, Ahold Delhaize USA, and The Nature Conservancy.

Prior to joining Thai Union, Blake focused on advancing more equitable seafood supply chains at Fair Trade USA, where his work centered on worker welfare and community development. He began his environmental career at the Environmental Defense Fund, addressing climate change and regenerative agriculture. Blake’s passion for tackling the world’s most pressing sustainability challenges was sparked earlier in his career while teaching middle school students in Southeast Asia.

Blake holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University.
