The sourcing, importation, and distribution of seafood in the United States is regulated principally by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).  Providing timely and accurate information to both Federal agencies is critical in avoiding delays, examinations, and penalties for non-compliance. 

This session by experts in customs clearance and seafood law, an experienced seafood importer, and a management representatives from the FDA, will inform suppliers, transportation and logistics companies, and importers, of their legal obligations as well as practical procedures to expedite the entry and clearance of seafood in the United States.
