The sourcing, importation, and distribution of seafood in the United States is regulated principally by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Providing timely and accurate information to both Federal agencies is critical in avoiding delays, examinations, and penalties for non-compliance.
