Karla is a consultant working for the Sustainable Blue Economy Finance Initiative, which aims to help financial institutions align to the Sustainable Development Goal 14 – Life Below Water. Before joining UNEP FI, she worked in international dispute resolutions and, separately, conducted climate litigation research. She is passionate about sustainable development and ecosystem conservation efforts. Karla studied Law at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, and holds a Master’s Degree in International Development from the University of Bristol.
