2025 Seafood Excellence Global Awards Winners

Vičiūnai Group and Kalaneuvos Oy won the top prizes in the 2025 Seafood Excellence Global awards at Seafood Expo Global, the world’s largest seafood trade event.

The top award for Best Retail Product was given to Vičiūnai Group for its entry, Cold-smoked Atlantic Salmon with Truffles, a well-balanced combination of gourmet flavors. Kalaneuvos Oy won the grand prize for Best HORECA (hotel/restaurant/catering) Product for Trout Bacon, a completely new way to serve seafood in bacon applications.

Four special Seafood Excellence Global awards were also given: The award for Convenience was presented to Frime S.A.U. for its Tuna Pibil. The Innovation award was given to Cold-Smoked Atlantic Salmon Loin with Black Ants from Vičiūnai Group. The prize for Best Seafood Product Line was awarded to Isstormur ehf for its line of seafood ready meals, and Vičiūnai Group received the award for Retail Packaging for its Cold-smoked Mussels in Chili Oil.
