General Strike in Belgium Announced on Wednesday, 22 April 2015
Diversified Communications, organizer of Seafood Expo Global and Seafood Processing Global, has been working very closely with the city of Brussels and the police on an extensive transportation plan to include complimentary shuttle service between accessible locations in the city of Brussels and the Brussels Expo Center for visitors and exhibitors on 22 April 2015. This shuttle program is in addition to the regular shuttle service provided during the expo.*
Expo badges are not required to use this service.

Central Station: Kardinaal Mercierstraat
De Brouckere: Emile Jacqmainlaan between Nieuwbrug & Sint-Michielsstraat
Europe: Karel de Grotelaan/Blvd Charlemagne
Brussels Midi - station: Europa Esplanade/Esplanade d’Europe & Blvd. Jamar
Visitors and exhibitors planning to take advantage of any these pick up shuttle services will be dropped off at BRUSSELS EXPO : Eeuwfeestlaan/ Av. Centenaire.
This shuttle service is also available for anyone planning to travel from BRUSSELS EXPO to any of the drop off locations cited above.
Shuttles will run from 07:30h – 20:00h on a continuous loop on 22 April 2015:
Brussels city center to BRUSSELS EXPO:
From 7:30 till 12:00: every 15 minutes
From 12:00 till 16:00: every 30 minutes
BRUSSELS EXPO to Brussels city center:
From 12:00 till 15:00: every 30 minutes
From 15:00 till 20:00: every 15 minutes
Representatives will be present at each pick up zone in the city to assist visitors and exhibitors.
Shuttle service to and from Gare de Lille Europe:
10:00 from Lille Europe** to BRUSSELS EXPO
16:00 from BRUSSELS EXPO to Lille Europe**
** The bus pick-up zone is located on the Boulevard de Leeds in Lille, next to the railway station and behind the taxi stand.
>> A transportation flyer including a map of the additional shuttle service will be available onsite at the Strike Info Desk located in Hall 10 at the BRUSSELS EXPO and throughout the event. Information will also be available at all VisitBrussels desks (South Station and Brussels Airport) and the reception desks of the official hotels for Seafood Expo Global and Seafood Processing Global.
Brussels City shuttle, a paid service running from Charleroi Airport and Brussels Midi rail-way station, is available. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.brussels-city-shuttle.com.
