Sarah Eames has worked in the food industry for almost two decades and across global tuna supply chains for more than a decade, with expertise spanning technical, sustainable sourcing, and commercial roles. She began her career in food retail in the technical team at Sainsbury’s (UK), responsible for food safety, quality, legality and integrity.
Her involvement in seafood started with World Wise Foods in the UK, overseeing the Technical and Sustainable Sourcing function, and working closely with manufacturing partners and customers. More recently she served as CEO of American Tuna Inc. in the U.S. market.
Now Chief Operating Officer at World Wise Foods, Sarah works closely with supply chains from fishery to shelf, with a strong focus on upholding World Wise Foods strong sustainable sourcing principles; supporting one-by-one tuna fisheries and coastal fishing communities.
