John Doucette joined M&T via the People’s United Bank merger in April of 2022. John has over thirty years of experience in the banking industry. He is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan to increase the Bank’s commercial loan business throughout Massachusetts. Focusing on commercial banking ranging from deals from $2,500,000 to $100,000,000+, John manages four commercial lending teams that provide creative financial solutions, encompassing both short- and long-term credit facilities and investment opportunities to mid-size and large companies. Mr. Doucette has a specialty in lending to the seafood industry which he has been involved with for over 25 years and maintains several clients today.
