Iain leads IPNLF’s work to strengthen and broaden supply chain engagement by linking the charity’s projects on the water with market requirements and demands. He works closely with IPNLF’s 50+ member companies that are based around the world, and include fisheries, processors, distributors, brands, food services and retailers.
Iain brings more than 30 years of experience in retail and sustainable ambient one-by-one tuna supply to retailers worldwide. Until recently, he spent 10 years as the Commercial Director at World Wise Foods, the UK’s largest supplier of pole-and-line tuna, amongst other food products.
Before that, Iain spent more than 20 years in various roles at the UK retailer Marks & Spencer, where he bought fish for the retailer and concluded his time there as Trading Manager, responsible for the ambient grocery and household categories.
