David Parreño Duque is a biologist and marine sustainability specialist with more than ten years of international experience working at the intersection of seafood markets, supply chains, and fisheries management.
He has worked across Latin America, Africa, and Europe, collaborating with companies, NGOs, and public institutions to strengthen coastal livelihoods, improve transparency and traceability in seafood supply chains, and support risk-based approaches to fisheries and aquaculture improvement at scale.
David currently serves as Partnerships & Markets Engagement Manager at Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP), based in Madrid, where he works to align sourcing decisions, sustainability data, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
