Dale Gavin is the Founder and CEO of Deliberate Capital, and Founder and Fund Manager of the Meloy Fund I, LP, one of the first impact funds investing in the oceans and fisheries sector. As part of the Meloy Fund, Mr. Galvin founded and is the Managing Member of Aquarev LLC, a venture-backed enterprise focused on climate-smart shrimp intensification. Mr. Galvin is also the Global Managing Director of the Global Fund for Coral Reefs, as sub-advisor to Pegasus Capital and in partnership with the United Nations and the Green Climate Fund. Mr. Galvin has 25+ years of management experience in the international conservation, investment, finance, and technology sectors, and is an expert in impact investing, natural capital, and the blue economy. His previous positions have included Chief Operating Officer of Rare, an international conservation organization, and Chief Financial Officer of PA Consulting Group North America. Mr. Galvin holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School Management and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
