Seafood Expo Global Announces Finalists for the2026 Seafood Excellence Global Awards

A total of 38 products have been shortlisted for this year’s awards, including 8 in the HORECA category and 30 in the retail category

Finalists span 17 countries worldwide, reflecting the global scope of the competition

Winners will be revealed on Tuesday 21 April 2026, during the 32nd edition of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global in Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona, 7 April 2026Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global, has announced 38 finalists for the 2026 Seafood Excellence Global Awards. The winners will be revealed during a reception taking place on the opening day of the Expo, held from 21–23 April 2026 at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue in Barcelona, Spain.

The Seafood Excellence Global Awards recognize outstanding seafood products showcased at the Expo, offering a snapshot of innovation and emerging trends across the industry. All submitted products will be displayed throughout the three-day event at the Seafood Excellence Global stand, located in the Galleria between halls 4 and 5.

Two top awards will be presented for Best Retail Product and Best HORECA (Hotel/Restaurant/Catering) Product. In addition, four special awards will highlight achievements in innovation, convenience, retail packaging and seafood product line.

This year’s 38 finalists represent 17 countries, marking an increase of two countries compared to last year.

The finalists in the HORECA category are:
