Iván López van der Veen has over 25 years of experience in the fisheries sector, with experience in both in the extractive and procesing side of the business. Curently he is the General Manager of Pesquera Ancora, a company operating a trawler targeting cod in Spain. With an acadenic background in International Affairs and International Law, he has combined the management of comapnies with activity in the associative part of the business. He curently is Vicepresident of the Spanish Confederation of Fisheries Associations (CEPESCA) and chairs the Long Distance Advisory Council of the EU (LDAC), the European Bottom Fisheries Alliance (EBFA) and the International Coalition of Fishing Associations (ICFA)
