Workshop: Using the GDST Standard to Understand and Fulfil Traceability Requirements in Your Home and Export Markets

Sep 05 2024

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM EDT

Increasingly, seafood is a data-driven business.  Regulators and customers expectations and requirements regarding seafood and its byproducts are evolving and expanding.  Harvester, growers, processors, and all supply chain participants must capture data required by governments and data necessary for customers to track performance on their responsible sourcing commitments.  The Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability holds the standard for digital interoperability in Seafood. Comprised of a core standard and expansion frameworks focusing on areas of interest including social accountability and marine ingredients, the standard allows the supply chain to capture and share required data in a uniform format that conforms to a broad range of reporting requirements.
Part 1 of our workshop focuses on data requirements for Asia Pacific countries.  Our experts will discuss what information is needed to comply with local requirements in a number of countries, including Singapore, Thailand, China and Australia.  Learn what you need to comply with local regulations, and how this aligns with the GDST standard.
Part 2 of our workshop will address data and reporting requirements for primary export markets.  Learn what data is expected or required from customers and regulators in key markets such as the US, the EU and Japan.
Join the GDST and our panel of experts.  Learn about and how to comply with market reporting requirements and the role of the GDST standard.
