Christophe Vande Weyer is a policy officer in the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission. He has 15 years experience on the common organisation of the markets for fishery and aquaculture products (CMO). He has been accompanying Member States and operators in the implementation of the reformed CFP and CMO, in particular producer organisations. He is now coordinating the activities of the European Market Observatory for Fisheries and Aquaculture products (EUMOFA), which is the main tool of the European Commission to fulfill its obligation to deliver market intelligence to policy makers and stakeholders .
