Registration Terms and Conditions

Sampling Policy: Seafood Expo Asia is a business-to-business event and as a trade event we ask that sampling be limited to business. No excessive product sampling will be allowed. All product sampling must be done on the exhibit floor. Attendees will not be permitted to exit the exhibit hall with product samples. Samples that attendees attempt to remove from the show floor will be confiscated at the exits and donated to charity.



Age/Child Policy: 
This event is open to trade professionals only. No one will be admitted under the age of 18, including infants & toddlers.


 

Baggage Policy: No luggage of any size is permitted on the expo floor.


 

Badge/ID Policy: Seafood Expo is open to trade visitors only. Individuals who cannot provide proof for their professional affiliation to the seafood trade are not qualified to be admitted to the show floor. The organiser reserves the right to ask for photo ID verification and/or proof of business. Badges are non-transferable and can only be used by the registrant.

Access & Acceptable Behavior: Seafood Expo Asia (“Event”) operated by Diversified Communications (“Diversified”) is open to industry and trade professionals only. In order to ensure the Event achieves the goals it has set out for participants Diversified reserves the right, in its sole discretion to limit or deny access to any entity or individual, including but not limited to those soliciting outside of exhibitor booths or other designated areas as well as those disruptive to the Event for any other reason. No one under the age of 18 will be granted admittance at any time. The policies precluding disruptions, disallowing soliciting outside of an exhibitor booth and setting a minimum age for attendees will be strictly enforced. There will be no exceptions. Diversified may require a photo id in order to confirm registrants’ identity and age prior to admission to the Event.

Privacy: Registrants acknowledge that information provided during registration is subject to Diversified’s Privacy Policy and grants Diversified permission to display registrant’s company name on Diversified’s websites and in other collateral material.

Photography & Promotions: Registrants grant to Diversified the right to use their name, likeness, biographical information, voice, content of any interview, image and/or photograph and any other indicia of persona worldwide, for trade, advertising and/or promotional purposes. Registrants shall have no rights of review, approval, or compensation, provided however that registrants may request a limitation on use, which may be granted if related to personal safety concerns. Event Content: Registrant understands that the conference sessions are valuable property subject to varied copyright restrictions and agrees not to make audio or video recordings without obtaining prior written permission. Additionally, attendees understand that Diversified makes all reasonable efforts ensure educational sessions delivered at the Event include accurate and helpful content, it is provided without representation or warranty of any kind. Attendees should only ever rely upon their own professional judgment in determining how content delivered might apply to their own circumstances.

Sampling: Exhibitors at some of Diversified’s Events offer product samples to registrants or otherwise demonstrate or offer their products for purchase. This activity must in all cases be confined to the exhibitors’ booths. Diversified imposes requirements on exhibitors to comply with applicable laws, including food safety regulations. Nevertheless registrants engage in any sampling or participate in product demonstrations at their own risk. Should samples include food products, registrants will not be permitted to exit the Event venue with them and they will be confiscated at the Event exits and donated to charity.

Compliance: Registrants participation in Diversified’s Events shall not violate any regulations administered and enforced by the U.S. Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control’s (OFAC) Sanctions Program or other applicable laws. Further, if a registrant’s country of residence requires further review as pursuant to Diversified internal compliance procedure, registrant will provide additional information as reasonably requested.

Offsite Travel: Should registrant utilize transportation provided by Diversified to leave the Event venue for a site visit, offsite demonstration or for any other reason, registrant acknowledges and agrees that they knowingly assume any and all risks of injury in any way connected or associated with such travel and activities conducted outside the Event venue and hereby waives, and agrees to release, Diversified and its affiliated and subsidiary corporations, from any claims arising therefrom.

 


 

Attendee’s Acknowledgments and Agreements for Admission to Seafood Expo Asia

By registering for attendance at and/or participation in Seafood Expo Asia, I do hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. I am registering to attend Seafood Expo Asia using my true name and I have fully and accurately identified my associations and affiliations relevant to my interest in attending the exhibition.
  2. I acknowledge that I understand that the purpose of Seafood Expo Asia is to promote the sale, distribution, marketing, development and use of seafood products and related equipment and services, and represent and agree that, while attending the exhibition, I shall not engage in any activities or conduct that may directly or indirectly:
    1. Promote or advertise any idea or product which is inconsistent with the above stated purpose of the exhibition;
    2. Promote the limitation of or discourage the use, distribution, development or marketing of any seafood product or related equipment or services;
    3. Object to, demonstrate against, or negatively target the products, business practices or business methods of any exhibitor or the seafood industry generally; or
    4. Disrupt the orderly operation, business or purpose of Seafood Expo Asia or any exhibitor.
    5. Engage in any activity which could be construed as the solicitation of products and services, unless I am also an exhibitor or co-exhibitor and the activity is confined to the space allotted by the exhibit space contract.
  3. I agree to abide by and follow any rules and regulations of the organizers of Seafood Expo Asia.
  4. I understand and agree that the organizers of Seafood Expo Asia reserve the right to:
    1. Refuse to register or to deny admission to the exhibition by any attendee whose reasons for attending and/or participating in Seafood Expo Asia not consistent with the purposes of this exhibition; and
    2. Deny admission to the exhibition by, or to remove any attendee, whose conduct or actions, as determined by the organizers in their sole discretion, detracts from the general character of the exhibition as a whole, disrupts the orderly operation and business of the exhibition, or is inconsistent with the purposes of the exhibition. The right to deny admission to and/or remove attendees from the exhibition includes, but is not limited to, instances in which attendees may be dressed in a sexually aggressive or offensive manner, or are engaged in conduct, including the distribution of any form of printed or other materials, of a character which the organizers, in their sole discretion, determine to be objectionable.


Cancellation Policy:
 Registration payments are non-refundable.
