We believe open data and increased transparency hold the key to better ocean stewardship.<\/p>\n<p>Leah leads efforts to ensure user needs directly shape the development of the Global Fishing Watch platform, specializing in translating complex, cross-disciplinary challenges into practical solutions. She works across governments, NGOs, and the private sector to explore the platform&#8217;s application for government IUU fishing risk assessments and operational planning, seafood due diligence, and the designation, management, and monitoring of marine protected areas.
