This experience has given him insight into harvesting, farming, processing, and product standards as well as connections to many in both the seafood and seafood sustainability communities.<\/p>\n<p>Richard has over 30 years experience in the Seafood industry, most recently as CEO (1992-2018) and Chief Sustainability Officer (2018-2021) of Stavis Seafoods. Richard is Board Chair for FishWise, Board Vice-Chair for the Conservation Alliance for Seafood Solutions, and a Trustee of Human Rights at Sea. He was the Sustainable Fisheries Partnerships\u2019 Squid Supplier Roundtable\u2019s first Industry Chairperson. Richard is a regular conference speaker at Seafood Expo North America, where he creates, develops and moderates panels on an annual basis.
