Eric Buckner, Sr. Director – Seafood, Sysco Corporation
Eric Buckner is the Senior Director of Seafood for Sysco Corporation. His team is responsible for the over 400 million pounds of Seafood distributed to Sysco’s approximately 425,000 customers annually. Eric has spent the last 30 years in all aspects of the Food Service business from Chef Owner/Operator of Restaurants to Food Service Distribution. Eric is an Auburn University graduate in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a culinary background and passion for seafood honed along the Gulf Coast. His history buying and selling seafood along the Gulf Coast have led him to his current position with Sysco Corporation in Houston, TX. During his seafood career Eric has served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the NFI, The Gulf Seafood Institute, and the Better Seafood Board.
