Global Aquaculture Alliance Annual Shrimp Forum
The Annual Shrimp Forum is back! A fixture of Seafood Expo North America Conference for years, the Annual Shrimp Forum returns to address the challenges and opportunities facing the global shrimp sector, addressing such topics as supply trends and forecasts, animal health (including disease management and antibiotic use), advancements in shrimp-farming techniques, retail and foodservice opportunities, consumer-purchasing behaviors and international trade politics. Moderated by the Global Aquaculture Alliance, the session will feature, in addition to the aforementioned, exclusive shrimp production data as well as the latest on a new initiative calling for greater transparency and visibility in the shrimp supply chain through improved data collection and analysis. This moderated panel session will feature a diverse mix of shrimp supply chain representatives, from farm to marketplace. Join this pre-competitive discussion about unlocking opportunities for shrimp marketing in a time of oversupply and price depression.
