Net Yield, Inc. announced the planned launch of a cloud-based version of the Net Yield accounting and inventory management platform at the North American Seafood Expo, March 11-13, 2018 in Boston, MA (Booth #1667). The cloud-based version will provide the same unparalleled margin transparency and back office efficiency as the server-based model — an industry standard for weight-based accounting and inventory management over the past 30 years. The cloud-based version will significantly reduce total cost of ownership, technical complexity, and setup time; while providing users with instant access to their business through a web browser on any device.
Net Yield, Inc. welcomed Mike Bennie as Head of Business Development to lead the next generation of the Net Yield platform. Mike joins Net Yield from Compass, a venture-backed technology company valued at $2.2B with SoftBank’s recent $450M investment, where he was Director of Business Development and Senior Product Manager focused on developing business and sales analysis tools for brokers. Before that he spent four years as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company in New York and San Francisco, focused on private equity due diligence and digital experience engagements. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Mark Bennie, CEO of Net Yield, Inc., said “this new product brings together Net Yield’s business logic and controls perfected over the last 30 years, with the newest technology, a modern user interface, and easy integration with other business software for improved operational efficiency. Mike and I developed this product together and I can’t image a better person to lead this platform evolution.”
