She is currently the Managing Director of the Ireland-based consultancy Moceans Environmental Consultants and serves as a Senior Fellow on small-scale fishery interventions at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.<\/p>\n<p>Momo is a Trustee of the Sustainable Fisheries and Communities Trust, a UK-registered charity dedicated to protecting fishing livelihoods and communities in marginalized coastal states. She is also a co-founder of Masyarakat dan Perikanan Indonesia (MDPI), a grassroots NGO supporting sustainable fisheries in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout her career, Momo has led and contributed to a wide range of pioneering initiatives. She helped develop and implement the world\u2019s first Fair Trade-certified seafood (Indonesian yellowfin tuna), was part of the founding team for the Community Catch SSF certification scheme, and has supported the design and delivery of numerous Fisheries Improvement Projects (both formal and informal) across Indonesia, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Her work has focused on strengthening supply chains, advancing data collection, and driving traceability systems in small-scale fisheries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Momo is deeply committed to ensuring that SSF voices are central to sustainability efforts.
