Taking place at Fira de Barcelona&#8217;s Gran V\u00eda Venue, the Expo will turn Barcelona into an international business hub and provide a valuable<strong> platform for the industry to conduct business on a global scale from 6-8 May.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting tomorrow, the 2025 edition will welcome <strong>2,187 exhibiting companies <\/strong>from<strong> 87 countries<\/strong> and <strong>68 national and regional pavilions.<\/strong> New participating exhibiting countries and regions include <strong>Albania<\/strong>,<strong> Egypt, Georgia, Greenland, Malta, Nigeria and R\u00e9union.<\/strong> New national and regional pavilions for the 2025 edition will include Agencia de Gestion Agraria y Pesquera de Andalucia, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), Japan Federation of Soy Sauce Manufacturers Cooperatives, ProEcuador, Sri Lanka Export Development Board, Instituto Valenciano de Competitividad Empresarial, IVACE (Spain) and Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will gather leading industry players from across the globe: suppliers of seafood, equipment, packaging and services, retail buyers, food service and distribution businesses, importers, government and industry leaders. The prestigious annual Seafood Excellence Global Awards Reception, which recognizes the best seafood products at this year\u2019s event, will take place on 6 May at 6:15h in CC 5.1. Winners will be chosen out of the recently announced 40 finalists representing 15 countries and two grand prizes will be awarded for the Best Retail Product and the Best Hotel\/Restaurant\/Catering (HORECA) Product.
