Ready to Cook: Chile’s proposal at Seafood Expo Global

April 24th, 12.00 – 13.00 hrs, Hall 9, Booth 4034

We warmly invite you to come and meet the Chilean fishing and fish farming industry and learn more about the most recent developments in Chile’s seafood sector, for example our ready-to-eat solutions.
With 29 companies presenting themselves at this year’s edition of Seafood Expo Global the Chilean pavilion is larger than ever before following the increased export numbers.

Great development
In 2017, 39.7% of the Chilean food exports was seafood, equaling an amount of 6,258 million USD, which represents an increase of 16% regarding 2016. This growth in seafood exports is mainly due to the extensive coast, pure water and high-nutrient maritime resources that characterize Chile, as well as its aquaculture industry that has shown great development in the last 30 years.
