On April 20, Spanish authorities will lift the mask requirement except in certain settings like in public transportation, care homes and hospital and other health centers. More details will be shared as they become available.
Spain is currently requiring the use of face masks in busy public places, enclosed spaces and anywhere it is not possible to maintain social distancing of 1.5m.
Currently the Catalan government requires the wear of face masks in indoor spaces.
