I am currently the Director of the Aquaculture Department under the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) and my role is to lead the development of key strategies, technologies, and innovations for the aquaculture sector. I was also recently appointed the Executive Director of AquaPolis, an initiative under the Singapore Food Story 2.0 R&D Programme, hosted by NUS with partners SFA and TLL. Dr. Cat Dorey has over 20 years experience in environmental and social justice advocacy and activism, and has been campaigning for healthy oceans since 2003. She worked internationally on fisheries and seafood sustainability for 14 years with Greenpeace, and 3 years for the Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) on marine protected areas, and seafood traceability and transparency. Chang Wei Hsiang

Chang Wei Hsiang graduated from the National Taiwan Ocean University with a master’s degree in Fisheries Science in 2012. He has been working at the Fisheries Agency, Ministry of Agriculture of Taiwan, for nine years and currently holds the position of section chief of the Fisheries Resource Management Section.Wei Hsiang’s team specializes in coastal and offshore fisheries resources management, formulating sustainable regulations for specific species and fishing gears, and implementing fisheries resources restoration and habitat conservation. In 2022, his team was awarded a major project achievement by the Ministry of Agriculture.Sustainability of fisheries resources is their goal, and they continue to promote regulations to achieve sustainable development.
