Singapore (2 September 2026)\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\u00a0Seafood Expo Asia\/Seafood Processing Asia<\/a>, organized by Diversified, announced the winner of the 4th<\/sup>\u00a0annual\u00a0Seafood Excellence Asia awards today at the three-day seafood trade event taking place from 2-4 September in Singapore.\u00a0Vinh Hoan Corporation won the Best New Product award for its\u00a0retail product Cured Panga Croquette.\u00a0The awards for second and third place for Best New Product were given to Lam Kee Fisheries Pte.,Ltd (Singapore)\u00a0for its\u00a0Japanese Curry Cod Cube\u00a0and Hai Sia Seafood Pte Ltd. (Singapore)\u00a0for its\u00a0Kami No Ebi.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seafood Excellence Asia awards recognize the product leaders in the Asian seafood market. The winners were selected from a group of new seafood products entered in the competition and from around the world. The winning products were judged based on several criteria, including eating experience, packaging, market potential, originality and convenience.

A live judging took place this morning in the Demo Theater by a panel of high-volume seafood buyers and industry experts from the retail and foodservice industries across Asia. The judges of the 2026 Seafood Excellence Asia awards included Bidfood Malaysia from Malaysia, Central Food Wholesales Ltd. from Thailand, Cold Storage & Giant Singapore from Singapore, Emart from South Korea, and Shangri-La Group from Philippines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Seafood Excellence Asia awards competition is an extension of the Seafood Excellence awards featured at Seafood Expo North America and Seafood Expo Global, which consist of seafood buyers tasting, judging and selecting the best seafood products in the retail and HORECA (hotel\/restaurant\/catering) <\/a>sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\u2019s Seafood Excellence Asia award winners and all the products submitted for the competition are on display in the Product Showcase in stand #C12 and can be viewed on the event website:\u00a0https:\/\/www.seafoodexpo.com\/asia\/seafood-excellence-asia-awards-product-showcase\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
