Åshild Nakken previously worked as Manager for Value Added Products in Lerøy Seafood AS and has had various positions within sales and market development and communication. She has always had a special focus on markets in Asia and the Middle-East and holds extensive work experience from the region. She held a position as Norwegian Seafood Council’s Director to China for five years and as Global Communication Lead which also included a year at the Tokyo office. She holds a master’s degree in Communication from University of Bergen and Volda College and started in the seafood industry when joining the Seafood Council as a trainee.
