The name change is part of a 2014 global rebranding and marketing initiative planned by the exposition’s producer, Diversified Business Communications. Diversified Business Communications will rebrand its entire portfolio of leading seafood expositions including the European Seafood Exposition, Seafood Processing Europe, Asian Seafood Exposition and Seafood Barcelona.
Specifically, the 2014 exposition name changes will include the following: The European Seafood Exposition and Seafood Processing Europe will be rebranded Seafood Expo International and Seafood Processing International; the Asian Seafood Exposition will be rebranded Seafood Expo Asia; and Seafood Barcelona will be rebranded Seafood Expo Southern Europe.
“Under their fresh, new names, Seafood Expo North America and Seafood Processing North America will continue to deliver the highest quality trade event for seafood buyers and suppliers from around the world who want to do business in the U.S. and North America,” said Liz Plizga, Show Director for Diversified Business Communications.
